Slowly the big fat bear is emerging from his winter slumber. It is a sunny and 68, sipping on some coffee and trying to survive the chaos that is the final month of school. I have not posted at all since February so here are some very brief highlights in no particular order.

1. New Years in New Orleans - What happens in NOLA, stays in NOLA.
2. Riding the rails on a trip to Chicago to visit the sis and friends.
3. Trip to NYC with the 8th grade at the "H".
4. Winning some middle school Basketball games, losing a few more, and still having fun.
5. A weekend with the Louisiana boys in Little Rock.
6. The Conference USA tournament in Memphis with the "Big Kat".
7. An Indigo Girls concert with Devan and Jenny so I can channel my inner lesbian.
8. The 40th anniversary of Dr. King's assassination in Memphis.
9. The wonderfully gut wrenching run of the Memphis Tigers basketball team to the NCAA finals. It still feels like I was kicked in the family jewels.
10. Grandma Stephany, and Aunt Sue and Uncle Dave's visit to Memphis over Easter.
11. BBQ fest preparations.
12. Crawfish boils.
13. Middle School Track.
14. Planning the summer of 2008.
15. A steady girlfriend.
