After a late rising, the gang assembled at Cantina Marina in southwest along the DC waterfront for some lunch. The sipped cool drinks and enjoyed some great food to the smooth rhythms of some steel drums. We watched the Euro2008 match between Russia and the Netherlands.

The lads then shifted our attention to our own games. Norm, Fran, and I along with Sanko and the Sharon posse went to our nation’s front lawn the National Mall for a furious match of Bocce. (History and Info) After an initial butt kicking the in the first match the boys form Sharon, PA took honors in the second match before leaving for the Nationals game.

The remaining players returned to “Club Norm” for snacks, drinks, and more corn hole. The corn hole matches were dominated by Norm until Kelly handed it to him in convincing fashion. She was even able to toss four straight corn holes in one turn.
