OK people. The weather looks to be awesome, highs in the low 80’s and lows in the high 50’s. That means it is time for the Court Square Concert Series again this Wednesday from 5:30pm till 7:30pm. The music looks to be good. And besides, how could Pete Big Bear turn down a chance to listen to a band called Big Bear. They are described as a rockabilly funk band.

I will have a cooler full of ice and a steady supply of beer. I will have plenty of Silo cups. I am even thinking of ordering some Gus’s Fried Chicken. If you want some let me know by 3pm Wednesday and put in an order and pick it up. From the square people can roll to the Saucer where Stella Artois will be the featured beer for "buy the beer, keep the glass" night. That starts at 7pm.

Besides it will be my first official stab at keeping up a weekly Pete Big Bear for the Fall. Not that anyone really cares. Hell I would have stopped paying attention after I read about Gus’s Fried Chicken.

2. Mississippi State vs. LSU for football
3. Road Trip to Knoxville for Labor Day
4. A few walks downtown for libations.
5. A whole lot of in-service meetings at the “H”
6. Sweating through 17 days of heat over 100 degrees in August.
7. Eating a whole bunch of BBQ.
8. Teaching, Teaching, Teaching.
9. A bunch of movies.
